  23. Ramsey 07 and Super DMAC 04 form an upgrade for the 3000, and are usually
  24. necessary if an accelerator card is to be installed, because the older chips
  25. were excessively temperature-sensitive.  Both should be replaced at the
  26. same time.  They also allow a memory speedup with static-column ram; it was
  27. not generally known that this capability was broken in the original chipset.

  29. Buster 11 and the U209 BCTL PAL 03 form an upgrade for the 4000 motherboard
  30. and 040 CPU card that solve DMA problems with some Zorro III cards, such as
  31. the A4091 SCSI adapter, and the GVP PhonePak.  One or both chips will require
  32. surface-mount desolder-solder work, which we do.
